Pear Vanilla Jam

Mom collected this recipe from an adorable French woman who lived and ran a B'n'B out of her home in a cave.  Nestled in the gorgeous Loire Valley in France, it was gorgeous, the food was gorgeous and this jam was especially gorgeous.  "C'est Magnifique!" was all we could utter after tasting this treat.  After some cajoling, the woman gave mom the recipe, and our family has been enjoying it ever since.
